Blend Production is a Windows-based bulk wine tracking and reporting system designed to cover all of the functions involved in the wine production from harvest through bottling.  While self-contained, it also is the hub to which all of the other modules are connected.

MODULES

The Enhanced Undo module provides a powerful tool to easily back out any transaction.

The Mock Blending module provides a way to compute composition and analysis numbers on potential blends.

The Barrel Groups module includes all of the functions necessary to group barrels together.  Barrel Sub Groups allows a winery to save time on entering transactions and provide immediate access to detail and summary barrel tracking information.  

The Bar Coding Interface provides the software a link to the Barrel Bar Coding system.  This system reduces errors and enhances productivity in the cellar by electronically gathering all of the information necessary to show what barrels are filled empited, moved, etc.  This requires the purchase and implementation of a Bar Code Scanner.

The Costing module provides a complete suite of costing functions that are integrated throughout the system.

The Barrel Aging Profiles module provides statistics on barrel usage.  This information is gathered throughout the life of a wine, giving complete and up-to-date usage statistics at the click of a mouse.

The Blend Overview & Summary provies a powerful set of on-screen inquires by blend or lot number.

The Scheduler module provides an integrated scheduling tool for all of your cellar activities.

The Graphical Cellar Overview module provies a graphical way to display and access tanks in the cellar.

The Data Entry Template module provies easy-to-use templates to enter groups of transactions at one time.

The Liters Option offers an alternative way to report volumes in liters.

 

Blend Production has several additional areas of functionality that may be included with the core production sytem., such as Work Order, Tirage, Vineyard Management and Package Goods (separate tab).

The Work Order module is a front-end to the current Blend Production system which would allow users to enter a Work Order in advance of the work to be performed in the cellar, then printed and posted through the system to supplement the existing data entry process. This module allows users to track work in progress in the cellar.

The purpose of the Tirage module is to provide a winery with the ability to track the necessary functions involved in producing sparkling wine.

Blend Vineyard Management tracks vineyard information and activities at a sub-block level.All activities done in the vineyard can be scheduled, tracked and the results entered in to provide a complete history of each sub-block.

This data can then be linked to the data in the Blend Production System to provide a complete picture of how the decisions made in the vineyard affected the final product.
