Blend Sales & Distribution is a winery-specific solution for tracking all activities involved with the inventory of finished goods. This not only includes order processing, but all shipping and accounts receivable activity. Every bottle is tracked from bottling through all sales and marketing transactions. Inventories can be transferred, relabeled, adjusted sent as samples, sold direct, sold to a distributor or sold on the premises. Once an invoice is created, a fully integrated accounts receivable system takes over and tracks all payments and credits as they are applied.
The integral components of Blend Sales & Distribution include the following:
Sales Order Processing and Inventory Management module is designed to track all the functions involved in tracking your wine inventory from bottling through the entire distribution process. In addition, it tracks specialty items (non-wine) that are shipped to your customers.
The Accounts Receivable module is designed to track invoices, payments, adjustments and credit memos for all types of customers. Product specific credit memos allow users to track gross and net revenue per case.
The Invoicing and Sales Analysis modules have been designed to provide all of the functions involved in invoicing your orders once the Case Goods module is completed. It will create an invoice using the integrated price component,a nd will then feed this data directly into the Accounts Receivable module. This module also provides sales analysis and sales management reporting based on what is invoiced.
The Allocations and Sales Goals module was designed to integrate with our order processing system to provide up-to-the-minute tracking of allocations. It allows you to set sales goals for regions, brokers or customers as well as generate performance reprots for each category.
The Marketing and Samples module was designed to track information about special events and wine writers. This information includes all samples or donations that have been sent, along with any reviews or ratings that are related to the sample. This module also contains a full inventory of point-of-sale materials with all of the necessary functions to control that inventory.
The Depletions module was designed to provide comparison of depletion information from distributors with actual shipments and sales goals.
The User Analysis Database was designed to give users complete access to their data in a de-normalized database. Users can create their own queries and reports as well as create customized analysis of their business.
In addition to the core modules, Blend Sales & Distribution also interfaces to other solutions to provide a complete system span across financials and point-of-sale.
The objective of the POS Interface Module is to provide import and export capabilities from an outside point of sale/cash register system and Blend Sales and Distribution. The interface is designed for S&D be the central repository of the key data point and would provide the cross references necessary to translate the data. This would then be used to provide the necessary editing and validation when data is imported or exported.
The objective of the Financial Interface module is to provide import and export capabilities from a financial solution and Blend Sales & Distribution. The interface is designed to pass valid financial data out from S&D to the financial system allowing the user the ability to control when these entries are posted. The control within Sales & Distribution is provided by the chart of accounts, which is imported from the Financial System.
